TRAINING ACTIVITIES OF THE ECP

The European College of Parma organizes, in the sphere of community disciplines:
- seminars for advanced updating of attorneys and magistrates, by agreement with the Magistrature and professional orders;
- conferences for business associations;
- training courses for officials of the public administration of various territorial offices;
- courses of professional requalification in the sector of public administration;
The complex course offering of the College arises from the need to adapt public and private structures to the political and institutional changes produced by the process of development of the European Union that has altered the relations between the Union, its member countries and the regional and local organization.
For this reason, the training activities of the European College concentrate, in particular, on the following themes:
- structure and functions of the European Union
- decisional procedures within the European Union;
- domestic markets, competition and consumer policies;
- the Europe of its citizens;
- European economic and monetary policies and the Euro;
- Industrial policies, R&D, energy policies and resources;
- European policies in favor of culture; the Europe of its women; Youth and education;
Employment and social policies;
- environmental policy according to the European Community; programs and support of the EU for the environment
- reform of community agricultural policies and the new policy of rural development; safeguard and development of products of quality;
- Structural funds: the reform of the third millennium;
- transport policies; the development of the trans-European networks; lines and goals of the project for development of European space;
- the information society and means of mass communication;
- the role of the Union in the world.

TRAINING ON THE SUBJECT OF THE EURO

THE ACTIVITY OF THE EUROPEAN COLLEGE OF PARMA IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CISDCE OF MILAN

The European College of Parma, as an institution specialized in the juridical problems of the Community, has been providing its technical and legal services, since September 1997, for the provincial Euro committee of Parma.
In three years of activity, the assistance provided by the European College to the local public offices of the Province of Parma has enabled it to achieve results of unquestionable significance.
Thanks to the contribution of its qualified experts, the European College has succeeded in developing highly original training courses extended to other parts of Italy, in collaboration with the Euro committees of several provinces. In particular, the training courses were held in: Pescara, Salerno, Avellino, Benevento, Palermo, Novara, Florence, Parma, Vercelli, Tortona, Ventimiglia etc.
